Product DescriptionInversion therapy counteracts the forces of gravity on the body (particularly the back) by decompressing and elongating the spine. Not only can this relieve pressure on your spinal cord's ligaments and nerve roots, but it can also relax the back muscles that support the vertebrae. And when your back relaxes, the rest of your body invariably follows. The Body Max IT6000 Inversion Therapy Table can make a great addition to your daily routine, and help to improve your circulation and posture while relieving muscle aches, back pain, and stress. The IT6000 is easy to adjust, with a deluxe dual-pin system that lets you quickly find the right position (within a height range of 4' 8" to 6' 3"). It's also a breeze to use: once you rest your body against the pad and lock your feet behind the ankle supports, you simply reach your arms over your head. As your arms go up, your body will gradually invert until you're almost completely upside down. The only inputs are your energy and gravity itself. Construction features include a lower spring-loaded pull pin that allows for easy ankle adjustments; four safe and comfortable foam rollers; U-shaped handrails; a safety strap that lets you control the desired inverting angles; and a safety lock for when you aren't using the table. The IT6000, which folds for easy storage, will support up to 250 pounds.

After he started using the Body Max Inversion Therapy Table, he quit having the pain. Rated It was super-saver free shipping and I got it in 3 days, so I was thrilled. Assembly was easy and took less than an hour. The quality of construction was much better than I was expecting for the price of $89 and I can't imagine why anyone would pay more for one of these. I mean it is good quality and it inverts you safely.....what more are you going to get in inversion tables costing 2 or 3 times as much? I bought this when I was having severe lower back pain that I know is being caused by compression of my vertebrae. My very first time on this I spent no more than 5-10 minutes and I had already felt relief! I've been using it now for just three days and the relief from back pain and pinched nerves has been phenomenal, so I can say this was a very good purchase. Rated Wanted an Inversion table for a long time hoping for back relief. Looked at more expensive models but didn't want to spend that much. This unit is great for the price. It might not have all the bells and whistles as some fancier models but works fine for me. Rated SOMEONE NEEDS TO INVENT SOME KIND OF ADDED SUPPORT FOR YOUR ANKLES WHEN USING THESE TYPE OF MACHINES...AS OF YET I DONT THINK ANTONE HAS. Rated The Body Max IT6000 is actually a better piece of equipment than I was expecting, even after reading all the good reviews.I had no problem assembling it,and was trying it out on a very slight angle shortly thereafter.I have had it for about three weeks now and am gradually working my way to about 40-45 degrees incline.I started at about a 25 degree angle and have adjusted the strap 3 or 4 times since. I use it daily 3 or 4 times depending on the situation. For instance.if I do a lot of walking at the store,I come home and stretch out on the machine.Walking and standing bother my back the most.So I get on the machine after standing or leaning over a counter for any period of time.In my case, stretching the back really makes a big difference in my comfort level. I have been doing about 3 to 4 minutes each stretch.I took it slow as the booklet said because inversion takes a little getting used to(mainly in the beginning) I hope to work up to 60 degrees and 5 minutes. The only flaw I can find with this is that the bar going across under the backrest is very annoying to lay on.Possibly different height people might not be bothered by this, but for me at 5'9",it goes right across my lower back. This is already my problem area.I put a section of 3/4 tubing foam insulation over it and it is slightly better.I'm hoping when I get to my 60 degree incline that it won't be as much of a problem because I'll be hanging more and not laying on it so much.
