on 2010-02-20I bought two of these for a trip to Hawaii (actually more for the red-eye return). Using this, great earplugs (see review for HEAROS), and an inflatable cushion (Therma-Reat) allowed me to sleep for the first time. I have made this trip five times and never slept a wink. This time I slept about five hours of the eight hour return trip. My wife loved it too and has used it in the car.

on 2010-02-13I purchased the TravelRest for a trip I was taking at the end of 2009. I've never been able to easily sleep on a plane, as my head would always fall forward and I'd wake up, or I'd get a stiff neck from leaning my head back. The TravelRest alleviated this problem! As it states, it took only 3-4 breaths to blow it up, and I positioned it like the picture shows so that my head leaned against the top part of the "pillow". I was able to sleep without my head falling forward or off to the side. I did have a window seat, so I comfortably leaned toward the window as opposed to the person sitting next to me - I'm not sure if I could be as comfortable using it if I had a middle seat or an aisle seat. Guess it depends on how self-conscious you are if you are sitting next to a stranger.

on 2009-12-08We bought them but haven't been on a trip yet, so I gave it 4 stars. The pillow seems to work when we are sitting on the couch and we are looking forward to a trip to try them out!
