Product DescriptionInversion therapy counteracts the forces of gravity on the body (particularly the back) by decompressing and elongating the spine. Not only can this relieve pressure on your spinal cord's ligaments and nerve roots, but it can also relax the back muscles that support the vertebrae. And when your back relaxes, the rest of your body invariably follows. The Body Champ IT8070 Inversion Therapy Table can make a great addition to your daily routine, and help to improve your circulation and posture while relieving muscle aches, back pain, and stress. The IT8070 is easy to adjust, with a deluxe dual-pin system that lets you quickly find the right position (within a height range of 4' 7" to 6' 8"). It's also a breeze to use: once you rest your body against the pad and lock your feet behind the ankle supports, you simply reach your arms over your head. As your arms go up, your body will gradually invert until you're almost completely upside down. The only inputs are your energy and gravity itself. Construction features include a lower spring-loaded pull pin that allows for easy ankle adjustments; four safe and comfortable foam rollers; U-shaped handrails; a safety strap that lets you control the desired inverting angles; and a safety lock for when you aren't using the table. The IT8070, which folds for easy storage, will support up to 250 pounds. Key Features:
Product Features* Deluxe dual-pin adjustment system with height range of 4' 7" to 6' 8"* Inversion therapy table for elongating spine and relaxing back muscles * Lower spring-loaded pull pin for easy ankle adjustments; 250-pound capacity * Safety strap lets you control inverting angles; safety lock keeps table secure * Folds up for easy storage and transport; U-shaped handrails Customer ReviewsRated It does the job. I weigh 210 and it holds me no problem. I've been using it for about a month now and I have a herniated disc in my lower back. So far...so good. It straightens me up in the morning and loosens me up when I need it. Highly recommend. Rated This unit was really easy to put together and works pretty well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't "revert" as easily as my old table. With my old table, if I raised both arms over my head I would invert all the way upside down. And if I lowered both arms to my sides, I would return to the upright position. However, with this unit, while I inverted like my old table, when I put my arms to my sides, it only raises me just enough so that I can reach the support bars to pull myself upright. Still, you can't beat $100 for a foldable inversion table! Rated Arrived complete, unlike other reviews. Pretty easy to put together, but instructions were useless. Ignoring the words and looking at the diagram helped. This is my first time using an inversion table, so I had no idea what to expect. Took me a few adjustments to get it right. I'm 5'10", but I had to set it to 5'7" to get it balanced. With my arms outstretched, I still don't get completely straight. It feels good to hang there, but I wish I was completely off the backrest, completely vertical. I couldn't afford the Teeter Hang-ups right now, but there is one major difference that isn't apparent on any of these pictures or descriptions, for any brand I researched. Watch this video on the Teeter Hang-ups: [...] Notice how he can lock the backrest into a vertical position, then he can do inverted sit-ups. In fact, the Teeter backrest goes PAST the vertical position, for a true hanging position. I think that's worth it right there. Not only can he do the sit-ups, but he's free to move and stretch. That must be nice. When you try to do a situp or move around on the Champ model, you swing back up. I would imagine this is the same with all brands, except the Teeter, as far as I can see. But, for $115, it gets the job done. It's solid equipment that I feel safe on. But, I'll probably save my pennies and buy the Teeter, then sell this on Craigslist. ;) Rated I did a lot of research on Inversion Tables and for the money this model gives you a "Big Bang for the Buck" Does the job that its suppose to do. No complaints. Why spend $300 when this does the job for $100. I read that it hurts your ankles- Well if you have weak ankles then this would hurt on any Inversion table. My ankles are fine, no pain or discomfort. Very well cushioned. Rated I bought this inversion table based on price and user reviews. It was easy to assemble by myself, took about 20 minutes. It takes a little adjusting to get the center of gravity right, but it is incredibly easy to use. It's definitely sturdy and I have no worries about it falling apart. Great for stretching the spine, relieves a lot of pain. Also really good for situps. I get a better burn doing them upside down than from crunches. I read that some people found it painful on the feet and ankles. I did not experience this, it's quite comfortable. For the money, you can't go wrong with this table. It folds and stores easily and can be moved anywhere, as it is not too heavy. Similar Products
