Product DescriptionWOW PEN JOY VERTICAL ERGONOMIC ACCSOPTICAL MOUSE BLACK BY ERGOGUYSProduct Features* OPTICAL MOUSE BLACK BY ERGOGUYSAccessoriesCustomer ReviewsRated I bought this along with other mice, trying to figure out which mouse would be a good fit and function in a way as to not bother my wrist and fingers. The design is a good one if you are only right handed. Because it is formed only to work right handed you cant use your left hand at all to work the mouse. I also found the buttons to be stiff and made my fingers hurt more. I would recommend this mouse for someone who has wrist issues but not finger problems. I do like the vertical design and I will keep looking until I find the right fit for me. Rated This mouse's shape is funky, but fits my hand very comfortably. Too bad the mouse itself is so poorly constructed as to be nearly unusable. The optical light (little red guy underneath) has an unsteady blink going on -- I had to buy a mousepad when it didn't work at all on my bare desk; I've also noticed the pointer on my screen will suddenly go wandering though nothing is touching the mouse and it is physically not moving; the sensitivity is utter cr*p such that getting the pointer to click on what I want is a struggle. So, overall, sure my wrist feels better, but I'm outrageously frustrated. Not a way to improve my working environment... I wish I could pull the horrific works out of this mouse and put any $10 mouse's innards in. Then I'd have something comfortable that actually WORKED. Rated These days, an ergonomic mouse is a huge plus for heavy computer usage. The good thing about this item is that it's relatively inexpensive. At about $20-25, it's fairly lowly priced, and this price is worth one star in this review. However, to me it's merely an "OK" product, as it has a lot of flaws: 1. The angle - first of all, the angle is only 45 degrees. I would have liked it a little steeper, maybe 60 degrees would feel better. 2. Compatible hand size - the mouse is designed so that your thumb and index finger must wraps around the mouse, as opposed to just being placed onto the mouse. This means that there's a chance that the mouse is either too big or too small for your hand. I would say that it's suitable for an average male hand only. 3. The 4th and 5th buttons near the thumb are in a very poorly designed position. It is hard to reach them because your thumb has to roll down from a large groove. What they should have was place the buttons above the thumb, since it's easy to move your thumb up, as opposed to down. 4. The mouse has a high click force, as many others have stated. It also makes a very big click sound. 5. Hand position - you may have to use your ring finger to press the left-click. The problem with the design is that the buttons are very low to the surface. This means that if you use your index and middle fingers for the two buttons, your other two fingers will be dragged uncomfortably on the surface or uncomfortably spread out. Thus, what I sometimes so is just use my ring finger and pinky for the two buttons. You might like this configuration, or you might not. What they should have designed is to place the two buttons much closer to the thumb groove, so that you can hold the entire mouse without touching the desk surface. Again, this is a design flaw, and one that arises from the large dependence on the size of the hand using the mouse. Rated I've suffered for quite a while now with wrist pain from using the standard mouse. I finally broke down and bought this thing and after having used it now for a couple of weeks I am very pleased. I have only two issues with it. First, I wish it were slightly bigger but since it's made for a large customer base I can see why they made it the size that it is. Second, the mouse buttons have a bit too much resistance but I'm thinking this will lessen the more that I use it. Over all, I would buy this again. Rated I got this mouse after having issues with the standard mouse which caused wrist pain etc. This mouse is a lot better but not perfect. My biggest complaint is that the buttons "SNAP" really hard, after awhile each click feels like you're getting shocked (if you have wrist problems you know what i mean - its not an electrical shock, but feels like it) I took this mouse apart and added some foam padding to the clickers to make them more soft. I also wish they were easier to push. How is there not a perfect mouse out there?! Its 2010! We need a fuggin mouse that is designed correctly - and then it needs to be made in small med large. Not that hard people! Similar Products
