Pros: light weight, keeps hand in a somewhat more neutral position
Cons: very noisy buttons, fingers don't curl around mouse buttons in a more natural way
Would be nice if it kept the wrist laterally straight. The noisy buttons are quite a nuisance and I'm trying to find a way to quiet them.
It seems my wrist pain has not gone away - may have even gotten worse since purchasing this mouse.

on 2010-03-10Several years ago my orthodpedist had me switch from a mouse to a trackball due to shoulder pain. That helped for quite a while, but eventually my thumb and palm began to hurt from using the trackball. I bought this mouse a few weeks ago and since then my hand pain has almost completely gone away. While there are some things my trackball did that this doesn't, for a comfortable basic mouse this is hard to beat. Glad I bought it!

on 2010-02-19I have been on computers since 1985, and worked with who knows how many meeces?, trackballs, and joysticks along the way. This one, despite being corded, is my new all time favorite. When they double or triple the dpi of the laser, quiet the click sound a teeny bit, and make it cordless I'll be the first one in line to pay $100 for it. It is important that you increase the speed of the cursor in your control panel for best results, I have a 32" monitor with the pointer speed maxed. With the slightest motion of my wrist makes the cursor sweep from one side to the other yet it is still very precise... I can immediately feel relief in my wrist and am positive that this is a much safer and saner alternative to wrist surgery. Next Christmas all my friends and family are getting one of these and a Dr. xxxx'x ionic toothbrush. Two of the most important purchases I've ever made as a 15+ year customer of Amazon. I highly recommend this mouse and really wish I had found it 2 years ago when it was first introduced and won so many awards.

- Es el mejor ratón ergonómico en la relación Calidad/Precio.
- Imprescindible para usuarios convencionales que ya no aguantan un ratón estándar.
En contra:
- Sólo reduce las molestias de muñeca; no las elimina por completo. Con una alfombrilla para el ratón con reposa-muñecas, el resultado mejora bastante.
- Requiere un período de adaptación a la posición de los botones.
- La precisión de movimientos se queda corta para algunos usos.
- La construcción podría ser mejor. Tras un mes de uso, la rueda-botón funciona excesivamente peor de lo que debería, si bien, tampoco es alarmante.
Resumiendo:
- Cumple las expectativas de un producto de precio sensiblemente menor que el de los demás de su clase.
- Valoración total: 4 estrellas

on 2010-01-28I bought this mouse to help with pain in my wrist and elbow when using a standard mouse for any period of time. It exceeded my expectations. However, it is not perfect for me. This particular product is designed for people with small hands. I am an averaged sized guy, and my fingers don't quite fit the buttons properly.
