Product DescriptionWhether you want to improve your posture, reduce back pain, or simply minimize your daily stress load, the Teeter Hang Ups EP-950 inversion therapy table makes a terrific choice. Inversion therapy works by placing your body in line with the downward force of gravity. In the process, inversion elongates the spine, increases the space between the vertebrae, and relieves the pressure on discs, ligaments, and nerve roots. And less pressure means less back pain, as well as fewer headaches and neck problems. Inversion is ideal for people with persistent spine and muscle aches, in addition to athletes who frequently push their bodies out of whack through repetitive muscle motions, such as runners, weightlifters, skiers, cyclists, and golfers. Studies suggest that inverting yourself a mere 25 degrees for even a few minutes per day can have tremendous positive effects.
In addition to its EP-standard features, the EP-950 offers a number of upgrades over other Teeter EP tables. The table's ratchet ankle lock system, for instance, offers an easy-to-reach solution in addition to a triple-lock security feature. The table also includes EZ Stretch handles to help increase traction and enhance your stretching experience. To make your inversion more efficient, the table's EZ Angle tether strap lets you preset your rotation angles at 20, 40, or 60 degrees. This provides an easy guide to where the benefits of inversion begin and are fully realized. Finally, the table includes a new Ankle Comfort Dial that adjusts for smaller or larger feet, allowing you to find a comfortable and secure fit for your ankle clamps.

Customer ReviewsRated I chose the EP-950 based on the reviews I read on Amazon. After owning this table a month, I can say it not only provides immediate relief for my back pain, but that some healing has taken place. I have degenerative disc disease, with at least 2 herniated discs at the lumbar level. I also have much mid-thoracic pain. Both cause pinched nerves, back spasms, sciatica in both legs, various numbness and tingling in fingers and toes. After using the table 1 to 3 times a day for a couple of days, I was a little sore. I used it every time I was spasming severely. Then, after about 3 weeks, I became too busy to use it at all. My pregnant daughter was ready to deliver. I watched her 3 children for days, drove her to appointments, and finally spent time at the hospital during labor and delivery. I haven't used the table for a week now. I expected to have increased pain once more, with the usual mild to severe spasms all day and night, etc. To my happy surprise, some healing seems to have happened. I no longer have early morning spasms in bed, requiring me to get up very carefully and limp to the inversion table for relief. I haven't taken one pain pill since starting to use the table a month ago. My back has hurt so much for so long, it usually feels hard and immobile, like a rock. Now, I have increased movement and flexibility in my shoulders, and can twist a little bit from side to side. This is really an amazing product. More specifically, it is easy to get on and off of, for someone like me who has severe pain with bending and twisting. It's easy to anchor the feet, as the lever extends far enough toward the hands. I bought some pipe insulation(foam) for $4, and made myself some "boots". They worked well enough, but I found I didn't have enough discomfort to need them. The motion of the inversion is smooth; no jerking that would be painful for me. And it was easy to put together, even for me. It's a sturdy table. I never have the sense that it's going to tip or wriggle when I'm getting on or off(I'm overweight, and a senior). $400 is a lot to spend. But the cost of other therapies is far higher. And I keep this machine in a handy place, so I can use it with ease, without leaving home. This is important when I need immediate pain relief. Lastly, I can do any movement at all while inverting, and it doesn't hurt! I can twist, stretch, attempt mild crunches, and hear my back "pop" just as it does at the chiropractor's office. For the first time in 5 years, I can lie on my stomach without pain. I hope that others will find the same pain relief that I have with inversion. Rated It was fairly easy to put together and has performed as stated. Because I was familiar with the inversion table concept, the biggest thing I needed to know was the difference between the different products. Rated I'm really pleased with my teeter. It's a lot more sturdy than I expected so I really feel safe when using it. It does require some assembly, but the instructions are quite clear so it's not that difficult to assemble. I have had a really bad back for years, but after only a short time, I have experienced considerable relief. Be advised. You have to take it slow. At first, you cannot get completely inverted like you see in the commercial. You have to work up to it. The machine comes with very easy to follow instructions as well as a DVD that will instruct you in the proper use of the teeter. I highly recommend the teeter! Michael Katis Ocean Springs, MS Rated I just got this machine, and I'm trying it out!! So far it has done wonders to my back!! I don't have that feeling that my back feels compressed anymore!!!! I love it!! It's great for me!!! my sisters call it the BAT machine! LOL!!! Rated I have a very bad back. After reading all these wonderful, succeses stories, I finally became convinced to try it out. Most people who complain about their back problems aren't as serious like mine, although I'm sure they hurt. I can see how this can take away their back pains completely or provide significant relief. For me, I've been thru surgery, 3 years of 3x/wk therapy, accupuncture, prescription narcotics, daily yoga with only temporary (2-3 hours) relief, and even epidurals (which almost killed me - that's another story, hence why I decided, no more drugs). I can't sit more than 1 hour w/o problem and am on disability. The EP-950 gives me slight temporary relief like yoga, but doesn't give me the other "mental feel goods" like yoga does. However, yoga takes at least 30 minutes and then the require chill out period, and I don't always have time. So, this is a quick fix for the morning so I could go on to making/eating breakfast. Otherwise, my back is too weak to sit without some sort of stretching or yoga since the back is so weak after a night of unsupported rest I feel like raggety Anne. Now, after 5 minutes, I can go on with my day. Then when I have time, I do my yoga and stretching, in essence, I'm buying time. So, it is a time saver for serious back injuries/problems. My only problem with this is that when I come all the way up, it does not take me to full upright, so I have to use a bit of muscle strength or bend my knees w/difficulty to get up. I have carpal tunnel problems also. So, if your back is bad and you are going to keep this for a while, go all out and buy the EP950 like I did, it's worth the money to get the arm pull and the longer handle release for the ankles. For lesser issues, this could take your pain away for a day! Similar Products
