on 2010-08-01I bought this mouse somewhere around three years ago, through Amazon. I've used it extensively the entire time I've had it. I edit sound, so there's a lot of mouse use. Even with this, the batteries last almost a year!
Of course the ergonomic shape makes the mouse very comfortable too. I hope you find this review to be helpful. I have no regrets with this product and encourage you to get one for yourself!

on 2010-07-19I bought this mouse to combat effects of repetitive motion. It took a little while to get used to it. At first I didn't like its shape and couldn't stand the slowness of the wheel ( i've been using Logitech with super sensitive wheel for years). The mouse felt bulky, not "nimble" enough. I wish its body was more elongated to better accomodate larger hands. It took about 2 weeks to get used to it. However, most importantly, ITS SHAPE APPEARS TO WORK. The pain and discomfort that I have been feeling daily for the last several months have subsided down to almost nothing.
For the reference: I do software development, i.e. don't have to type or scroll all day long but I use computers 8-10 hours a day. Developed symptoms after 25 years of doing this type of work. Accordingly to my doctor this was not carpal tunnel syndrome, just overuse, stress from repetitive motions (my doctor was the one to suggest looking for different mouse). I have large hands of 6'4'' guy. I do some wrist "stretches" and every now and then use my left hand to operate the mouse.

on 2010-07-09Although the typing is a bit noisy this keyboard is extremely comfortable and within a short period of time the pain that I had been experiencing in my wrist was gone. Best thing I could have done. I haven't tried many other keyboards like this but I'm very pleased with this product.

on 2010-07-06They say this mouse is ergonomic but don't believe it! You're hand gets tired being so high up all the time! It puts pressure on the carpals in your wrist, and if you have carpal tunnel or arthritis, you are going to be even worse off than with a regular mouse! It hurts to click on anything and holding it down to move the mouse around is even worse! It is the least ergonomic mouse I've ever felt!
And you will accidentally right-click constantly because the pressure of your hand naturally falls down onto the right side because of the design. So be prepared to be irritated! The magnifier might be a great feature; however, if you ever drop it, it automatically & SLOWLY loads up the magnifier and once again, prepare to be irritated!
I had a regular wireless mouse that I like MUCH better! The wheel doesn't work either. Really, it has a lot of features that doesn't matter in the scheme of things when it is uncomfortable and irritating! Don't buy it if you have any wrist or hand issues! You'll be sorry and irritated!
