NuLOOQ navigator is an innovative stationary control device, about the size of a half a tennis ball but weighs in at a solid 1 lb. Built into the device are a multi-dimensional ring, called the navring for simultaneous 360 degree pan and zoom and a touch sensitive circular disk, called the tooltuner for fine precision control.

on 2009-06-12It is funny to see how some play the review wars by discrediting superior products to drive potential buyers toward different choices. This device(I use it for 2 years) is superbly designed, very reliable, very useful and takes some time to learn to use. Because of so many touching surfaces it takes few occasions before you could use it intuitively.
It makes great helper in Photoshop, in Illustrator, in Acrobat, in all of my video and sound editors.
It is true that it has been discontinued, but the drivers are available on the website and you can easily modify, add actions for various applications.
It is solidly build, very high quality device. One reviewer claimed he gave it to chew to his dog, well because base is a solid steel the dog only could leak it (along with the reviewer).
Great device, it takes some time to learn using it but it is true to any controller.

on 2009-02-20This was a good product ... as long as Logitech was supporting it. It still works fine, but NOT in Photoshop CS4. So if you plan to use such a device with CS4, buy something else.

on 2008-10-08I'm very impressed with this product. Quality is top notch as noted by others.
I also wanted to address my original concern with someone's comment about top buttons (triggers) being loud and difficult to press: it's quite the opposite. While not touch-sensitive (capacitive), these surrounding buttons require low pressure to activate and emit a soft click. An interesting surprise was finding out that the middle button is a capacitive one.
I am using this product for Serato Scratch Live and it's perfect for my needs.

on 2008-08-24FYI, logitech has discontinued this product. They even pulled the drivers off the website. So - regarding some people's issues with usability with software packages (like having to continue to use CS2 while waiting for Nulooq to support CS3 for example) - if this product stops working with the next upgrade you will either have to 1.) not upgrade your software or 2.) stop using this device. So get this only if you plan on using compatible (old?) software for a while.
