MouseFIGHTER - Easy Pointer Control Using the Keyboard
When controlling the screen pointer using a mouse, RSI and other kinds of pain to the arm, elbow, shoulder or wrist can occur. When working with the screen pointer, maximum comfort is required. If you feel pain from using a mouse, use the keyboard with MouseFIGHTER.
You can use the arrow keys, or keys in the middle of the keyboard as you see fit for your needs and comfort preference.Carpal tunnel syndrome(CTS) is a very unpleasant condition and must be avoided by relieving strain and repetetive movements (RSI). The pressure should be divided amongst all fingers, and static strain on shoulders and arms should be minimized by keeping hands in one place. This also reduces the static pressure on the shoulders.

Tips and Tricks

  • In "press to change" mode with "ergonomic" key model activated, you can press and hold the activation key to change the mousekeys into arrowkeys. This is a big advantage e.g. while surfing, because it enables you to scroll up and down on the page without moving your hands. In general you won't have to move your hands too far from the center, using this option.

  • As you become familiar with controlling the pointer with MouseFIGHTER, please do experiment with the the speed settings to get even better and faster. Just watch out and reduce the speed if you are feeling pain from the fast maneuvring.

  • It is a great advantage to use a keyboard with a short 'travel length' of the keys, because it gives you a better feel with of the movements.

  • You dont have to use the special cursors incorporated in MouseFIGHTER. At any time, delete or move the cursors from the program folder.

  • Press shift+F12 to see the active keys at any time. If you press shift+F11, the control panel will reappear from the systray.
