So, I love this product, and have always uses simple gel pads like this for typing. It gives me a great resting spot for my wrists, while not being overly tall so that it becomes uncomfortable to type.

The one flaw in this product is that the seam has a tendency to rip a bit, and deposit little balls of gel on your desktop. Not a huge deal, and this has only happened to 1 of my 3 pads so far. The bonus is that the gel balls looks like boogers, so you can have a bit of fun at the office (gel isn't toxic, is it?)

This is a great product! It's firm, yet soft. It's so luxurious to the touch. I would definitly recommend this.

I am a full-time employee and a full-time student who was having a lot problems with wrist pain from using computers 24/7. After purchasing this product, I was able to support my wrists and apply to myself more at the office and school. For awhile, it hurt too much to use the computer and my office as well as school needs were not meeting the expectations of my peers, supervisors and teachers. This product has become a new friend and has helped me get back on track!

This is simply the best wrist pad I've been able to find. I just bought a second for work after a tendonitis flare-up partly due to working long hours on the computer. This is much better than all the bean-bag style junk out there. My first one had a funny chemical smell that took great pains and soaking to remove. Although, this second one is at work, I don't notice much of any smell so it seems the new ones are better in this regard. Kudos to 3M for another great product. Odd that I wasn't able to find them in the usual computer superstores though. Thank goodness for Amazon.

I've used one of these for a few years in a variety of places.

One benefit is its slim depth. I was able to use it on a work table in a lab where there was BARELY enough room for an IBM Preferred Pro slim keyboard (19K1760) and a little wrist rest. Others would've fallen off the edge. It's also a very comfortable rest (for me).

After a few years, the fabric covering has begun to pull off the edge, exposing the sticky gel inside. (1 point off.)

In all, for the price, this is a good wrist rest.
