I had both product side by side here at home. I used Logictech 1st for about 3 weeks and then the MS 7000. To be short, I liked them both.

LogicTech I most say its more user friendly and far easier and complete than MS 7000. It also brought a USB that MS did not.
MS 7000 has far more programmable keys but it lacks the shutdown key unlike LogiTech that it had a very nice shutdown key.

IF you are the Multimedia type, use LogicTech.
IF you are the office or programmer type, use MS 7000.

PS. MS 7000 mouse is very nice as long as you dont use it for gaming or internet. It feels good but ur wrist WILL hurt if use for extended periods of time.

This is the first "ergonomic" keyboard I've owned. On the few occasions I've used such keyboards belonging to others, I didn't like them - but the circumstsances were always rushed.

Now thst I've used this one for a few days, my opinion has become a bit more positive, but I actually find the ergonomic keyboard requires more flexing and stretching of my fingers than a regular keyboard and is more tiring to use. My typing speed is greatly slowed. Perhaps I will find it essier to use as I become more accustomed to it. At the moment, I still view this as an experiment - and don't have high hopes for it.

The keyboard lacks LEDs to show you when Caps Lock or other special eys are in use, That to me is a big negative, especially with regard to the Function keys which I use a lot. All of the function keys are dual purpose and it is annoying to hit F5, for instance, to refresh my browser and have the File Open dialog appear because I can't tell if the Function Key Lock is in use. Bad way for Microsoft to save pennies.

The mouse is okay, though larger than the Logitech MX it replaces. Resolution is high . The mouse seems almost too big.

The wireless connection, which is the only reason, I'm trying this product works fine.

Overall, my feeling is that I will give the ergonomic keyboard a fair test over a few weeks. Right now, though, I am not impressed.

This is an excellent ergo keyboard. I'm a legal document processor and use the keyboard extensively. I purchased it myself instead of using the firm's keyboards because of it's excellent touch, ergo position and good for your arm/hand/neck health.

This is a great wireless desktop set. The receiver is small and out of the way. Nice using just one USB port for both devices. The keyboard is extremely comfortable - perfect ergonomic design, comfortable wrist rest, soft-typing keys. The buttons available at the top including the macro buttons are great, but since they only allow you to open a folder or file, you may have to write your own scripts or something if you want them to do something like send a keystroke. It is true that the spacebar will not press down from the very outer corners, but this isn't a problem for me. Where my right thumb naturally rests, the spacebar presses down fine. It is slightly louder than the other keys but no big deal at all. I also like the extra keys above the numpad, I think the parentheses will come in handy. The wheel in the middle is nice to have, but should've come with the ability to reprogram to scroll OR zoom instead of just zoom (but you can get around this, in fact you can make it scroll on default and zoom when pressing Ctrl, search around the web to find this).

The mouse is comfortable but does take some getting used to. I wanted an ergonomic, naturally-shaped mouse and this is definitely it, but I did consider getting rid of for the first couple weeks. After that though I was very used to it and now love it. The rubber thumb groove is nice, the clicks are quiet, the laser is accurate, and the smooth scrolling wheel is fantastic. Just make sure to set the scrolling increment very low so you don't scroll too fast, but set the acceleration high so you can start going quickly when you want to.

Overall a great set.

The keyboard works great and since I am already comfortable using a Microsoft Natural keyboard took no time to adjust to this one.

The mouse took some time to get adjusted to but now I find it very comfortable.

Hope this keyboard and mouse work reliably for a long time.
